How do I repair Internet Explorer in Windows XP?

To repair the Internet Explorer

Run the command

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf

You will need to have your XP CD available


If you have problems with the command line above, copy the text and paste then save ie.vbs. Then double click it and run script
